Research the following aspects of a country that will be assigned to you, then prepare a three-minute presentation for the classroom. The presentation may be in PowerPoint format. A minimum of two sources are required.
GuidelinesThe major topics involved are:
1-Geographical location of your country including a map, and neighboring countries 2-Brief colonial history of that country 3-The capital city, the current flag and the current leader with a picture 4-The current system of government and the electoral process, if possible 5-The currency used and its equivalent to the US dollar 6-Typical foods of that country and eating habits 7-Current population as of the past one to two years and ethnic breakdowns 8-Major industrial and agricultural productions 9-Major historical sites and tourist attractions 10-Price of a round trip ticket in the summer and the winter 11-The educational system from kinder to the university level, and the percentage of the population that’s illiterate 12-Healthcare system and the life expectancy rate of men and women 13-Any additional and unique features you determine to be relevant |
